The establishment of the new shoulder department marks a significant milestone in elevating Physiomedic to a higher level of care. In collaboration with Shoulder Academy-Italy, we have opened a specialized shoulder department dedicated to the treatment of various shoulder issues, ranging from simple tendinitis to more complex conditions such as scapular dyskinesia, sports injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation.
Our specialist physiotherapists are equipped to conduct comprehensive shoulder assessment and develop individualized rehabilitation programs for each patient.
We address a wide range of conditions, including:
• Acute and chronic rotator cuff tendinitis.
• Partial and complete rotator cuff tears.
• Adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder).
• Shoulder instability, which can result from muscle weakness, muscle imbalance, or a labral tear, and may lead to conditions such as shoulder dislocation.
• Winging scapula.
• Post-traumatic fractures treated conservatively.
• Post-traumatic fractures treated with ORIF (Open Reduction and Internal Fixation).
• Calcific tendinitis and bursitis.
We are also committed to fostering close and collaborative relationships with orthopedic surgeons, ensuring open channels of communication and keeping them informed about the progress of our shared patients.
